Advice on how to exit a relationship like marriage can be a walk through a minefield. The article, www.fixorbreakup.com/blog/2009/03/12/how-to-walk-away-with-dignity-after-ending-your-marriage.html, attempts to walk the minefield, and I think it avoids some landmines, but steps on a few as well. The landmines avoided are the temptation to lie and sugar coat the effort to end the relationship, and to not share all assets and children. The minefields stepped on are the assumption that one party can, regardless of circumstances, walk away with dignity regardless of the wishes of the other party. If one party to any contract decides that there will not be a dignified exit, then there will not be a dignified exit.
Although this is a good effort, marriage advice can not be simplified to 400 words.
