What Happened to the Stimulus Package Lobbying Disclosure?

Where are all the promises that the Obama administration made? For instance, what happened to the stimulus package lobbying disclosure? So far, the American tax payer really doesn't know how and where his money is being spent. This is neither right nor fair, as it is the tax payers' money. There has been no increased lobbyist disclosure since March when the Obama administration put in affect the unprecedented restrictions on lobbyists. Then, in May, about 800 lobbyists had registered to lobby on stimulus issues, but there are only a few registered lobbyists that you can actually find in lobbying disclosures on agency websites.

The definition of the word "disclose" is to tell or reveal all. There has been very little of that being done when it comes to lobbyists or Congress and when it comes to where and how the American people's tax money is being spent. Vice President Joe Biden's office is the one that is suppose to oversee how and where the stimulus money is spent.

And what happened to the stipulations for receiving stimulus money, like "Buy American?" With waivers being handed out to companies, allowing them to not "Buy American" is wrong. If given the opportunity, the American workers can fabricate and or manufacture any products that are needed as well, if not better, than any other country. When Joe Biden's office was asked about the stimulus money being spent out of this country, he had "no comment." The stimulus is suppose to stimulate our country's economy, not other countries' economies.
