What Are CAIR's Links To Obama?

CAIR is the Council on American-Islamic Relations and is based in Washington, D.C. It lists its aim is to promote understanding between Americans and Muslims.

In reality, this group seems to support terrorism, calling the conviction of the 1993 World Trade bombing culprits as a “travesty of justice.” They also requested that a billboard in Los Angeles that said Osama Bin Laden was a “sworn enemy” as being offensive to Muslims.

CAIR’s record of extremism links them to an aggressive, militant strain of Muslims and not the mainstream peace loving ones they purport to. Now after all of this is said, how does this organization link to President Barack Obama?

President Obama is being sued by a person who wants him to produce his original birth certificate. In this action, President Obama has hired a lawyer who is connected to CAIR. Joe Sandler was a CAIR lawyer in some previous cases in which he defended terrorism against people in our country.

Many realize this is essentially guilt by association on our president, but what else would you call it? The president certainly has the money to hire any attorney he wants, so why would he pick a controversial one, unless he had some personal ties to the organization? It just doesn’t make good sense to blatantly throw something like this into mix. It brings to mind a number of other questionable decisions our president has made and all we as citizens can do is sit back and wait for the next shoe to fall.
