During his campaign another promise made by Obama was that he would sign a deal on global Climate Treaty. On November 15, in Singapore Obama revealed that it would not happen at Copenhagen. The best that could be hoped for would be an agreement on architecture of a post 2012 agreement. As the song so famously says, "another one bites the dust".
What the Boy in Chief forgot to mention is that this makes Cap and Trade, (Obama's attempt at climate change legislation that lacks any valid scientific component, but will cost a lot of money, jobs, and suffering) is worse than just a failure. It is a failure designed to destroy American Economic power. So Cap and Trade will not improve overall climate change--as we cut back on our emissions and destroy our economy to do so; China will increase its emissions and get rich by doing so.
What cap and trade will do is drive this economy deeper into a depression with double digit unemployment being the unrecoverable factor. People will starve because of Obama. People will be unemployed for years because of Obama. Nobody should be surprised because Obama said in his campaign that America deserve to suffer for being a leader in the world. According to Obama it is ok, because Americans were too rich to begin with.
And the one reality that Obama does not want to face is that he has no chance of being re-elected in 2012; nobody likes him now that they know how truly socialist and anti-American he is. There will be no post 2012 agreement because there will be no President Obama. The campaign against this loser has begun. He is the cause of this economic depression and he is too ideological to fix it. Want a job, don't vote for a Democrat.
