Causes of Mexican immigration

In the past month our government has been preoccupied with the confirmation of Obama’s first Supreme Court pick, the escalating war in Afghanistan, an economy in recession and socializing the health care system. In that time at least 50,000 crossed our borders illegally from Mexico. I’m sure you can imagine where most conservatives stand on this issue. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it, first we must understand the causes of Mexican immigration and what we can do to deter it. Illegal immigrants are responsible for a shocking number of crimes committed in the United States. They also cost us significantly more than the cheap illegal labor they provide. We must unite in our efforts to correct this great nation of one of her flaws.

The three main causes of Mexican immigration are family in the US, green card delays and economic incentives. While hiring illegal aliens is beneficial for a company in the short term, it is bad for America in the long run. Your liberal friends would tell you they do jobs white Americans won’t do, and for less money at that. In a recession where our unemployment has nearly doubled in the past few years, there are in fact more than enough Americans looking and dying for these jobs. Many cross the border illegally to reunite with family members or because they have grown tired of waiting three years for green card applications to go through the system. Whatever the causes of illegal Mexican immigration may be, it is illegal and should be treated as such. So instead of more taxpayers contributing to our Health care and Social Security systems, we choose to deprive Americans of jobs they need more than ever, and deprive our systems of the resources it needs to take care of Americans in need.

95% of murder warrants in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens. Twelve US citizens are murdered every day by illegal aliens. Another thirteen are killed every day by illegal aliens driving under the influence.  That means 9,100 people are killed every year by illegal aliens in the US. Not as harmless as the media would like you to believe. Our best idea so far is a giant high-tech “super wall” between our countries. Apart from the staggering cost to taxpayers it offers no guarantees and is veiled by impracticality. A comedian once said we should be building 2 giants walls that had signs reading ‘Wall # 1/50’ and ‘Wall # 2/50’ the joke was any country silly enough to build 2 giant walls, would build 50 and after seeing the second giant wall the potential illegal aliens would turn back. However, one simple yet practical idea that hasn’t gotten much coverage might not only work, but could turn the process completely around and start generating revenue. Treat immigration criminals like drug criminals. Divest them of the profit they have accumulated from their crimes. Fine employers the maximum amount of money they might have saved by hiring illegally, and make it illegal to send money orders outside of the United States without identification. It would certainly send the right message.
